Title: Laptop question
Post by: Mike Sinclair on December 27, 2017, 09:00:56 PM
I just went back to Ots. I found a couple of the Classic licenses with free upgrades. So, now I am looking at laptops. I have been a Mac guy for awhile and I know you can run Ots via Bootcamp and a dual-boot (which I MAY do) or I might buy a PC laptop. Is anyone using a somewhat newer machine that they are happy with? I notice a lot of modern laptops also work as tablets and are touch-screen, features I don't really need. Is there still a "standard" laptop out there to consider?

I have a newer laptop, and it's a beast. Likely more than you want, but I am extremely happy with it.

It appears the same as mine except mine also includes a 1Tb spinning drive for storage as well as the 512GB SSD. The GFX are actually removable and upgradable.
