Title: Is there a charge for the windows 10 free upgrade?

I heard today the the free upgrade for windows 10 will incur you a charge next year. I haven't had the time to check this out yet. If anyone knows the details please advise!

If you upgrade before July 31, 2016 the upgrade will be free. After that, it will cost you.
If you do the free upgrade before July 31, there will be no additional charge for windows 10, or its updates.
