Hi, I have a member of our dance club asking for a specific samba track.

It is mainly (90%) a percussion track, the only way I can identify it is that it is a rythmic mix of usual samba drumming etc. but with an overlay of what can best be described as a rythmic popping sound and a quack quack that could either be a voice or synthetic.  There are no words.

I believe that it is a fairly new track.

Apologies if this sounds silly but the member is keen to get this track for a specific purpose and I would like to help her.

If any member of this forum knows this tune would be grateful for reply.

Kind regards

Martin

Thank you so much for the reply.

Great samba, but not the one I am looking for.

The one I am looking for has sort of popping noises as the melody (as far as samba has a melody) that are a sound like we used to make, as kids, by clipping a finger out of the side of your mouth, then this is accompanied by a strange 'quack' 'quack' sound.

Makes me sound really weird!  Sounds much better than I can describe it!

Frustrating when you have heard a tune and cannot find it.  Unfortunately there are no words (except for quack quack) so no help there.  I will post the tune when I find it!

Hopefully someone somewhere knows the tune I am looking for.

Apart from this I am so pleased to find this forum alive and kicking, must be years since I have visited.

Many thanks again

Martin

I really have no clue about that song, sorry.
But if its a new one you may find somthing at https://www.shazam.com/de/charts/top-100/brazil
I myself haven't found an instrumental song there but perhaps its an instrumental version of another vocal song.

Hi Socialdancer,

Brilliant, there is always someone who knows!

Thank you so much, all I need now is to find out where I can get the track!

And, of course,  thank you to everyone who had a good think about this.

Kind regards

Martin
