Is there any utility that will allow me to convert my ots videos back to the orginal format?  i would like to play them on my cell phones.  Or maybe a cell phone app that will play them would be nice?

thanks

tom

Sorry Tom, but that's never yet been possible with Ots Video content.

I made a start on a tool to extract CD+G data from the Ots Album files (I got it working for my own needs at the time).  Out of respect to Ots Labs I asked them for permission to release the tool.  They informed me that they would add that functionality to Ots Studio, so I left it alone.

I suggest you ask Ots Labs directly whether they would be able to add video export to Ots Studio.  I imagine it's not quite as simple as the CD+G export because when you import MPEG2 video you get several separate chunks created in Ots AV - Video Data, Audio Data, VCI and ACI.  When we export CD+G it just writes the CD+G file back alongside the mp3 (or wav) that was exported.  For video it will have to be able to combine the video and audio data back together.

I imagine that things like audio-video sync in the VCI chunk would not be applied either.

thanks guys for the replys,  i didnt think this was possible.  Being a Non DJ user of the ots program (which i must say is the most used program i have ever used on my computer, simply love it), i am finding myself migrating off my pc to my tablets and cell phone for my music playback more and more, its just the sign of the times i guess.  thanks again

You can export the audio from ours albums with video content. I do this for mp3 cds for the car.
