Overall I like the new interface but as there is only support for the same 2 controllers at the moment, any ideas when OTS will release support for other controllers. Been happily using my Mixtrack Pro ( which is also my sound card ) with ots for ages. OHML file doesn't work on Esperance:-( So no point upgrading to the full version at the moment for me :-(

Ya! My Numark MixTrack pro doesn't work anymore and im kind of disappointed because some of the buttons are just too small... I need it like TODAY! Not in a few months!

Existing controller scripts should still work, albeit without the new functionality. Are you sure you have the MIDI config panel set correctly?

I had this problem, just re-download the mixtrack v2 script and re install. Works fine for me ( with the same control as before ).

All officially supported controllers will be updated in several days (apart from Denon ones which are already done and packaged in current version).

There will also be two new Hercules controllers introduced and then another three Hercules controllers added sometime after that.

When they are updated/added they will be uploaded to this page:

Any chance the Ddenon MC6000 could be supported with 48khz sampling. This is one of the best controllers out there but currently i can only use it as a mixer with my HC4500 as the controller.

Edit: I fixed your quote - Darryl

The Denon MC6000 has always been planned to be supported in the 2nd Esperance release (not including any minor maintenance releases inbetween).

It requires changes in the actual OtsAV core code to support its driver.

My MC6000 is jealous of my HC4500 & keeps flashing it's eyes at my new OtsAVDJ 1.9  :icon_lol:

never used an mc6000, but looking at it,, I prefer the layout of the important buttons on the hc4500 in relation to the jog wheel, ie pitch and play pause are in a better position imo...

i think we're lucky to have the 4500, it really is a great piece of kit, for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would choose to use OTS without one....

My mixer (Bose Tonematch) doesn't have sliders, so I want a controller with volume sliders/cross fader.  The Denon build quality (and 14 bit precision pitch sliders) are what I like about these controllers.

Button positioning is ok for me, apart from the functions the weight (light) & onboard 4ch mixer are a massive +
I already have mine mapped for OTS & I currently use it for my quizzes, it's perfect for picture rounds & audio/video rounds, plus i can throw it in a backpack with my laptop.

100% agree ... until OTS coding supports the MC6000 driver
