You can't do that currently... Maybe with Esperance, I don't know.

Currently, you can add cideo chunks to an Ots Album, and link them to Audio items within that same album however. Of course they need to be long enough to play the length of the audio track also, so some editing may be necessary.

There are many, many videos here. When I posted, I was thinking usage for Birthdays, Holidays, etc. Video clips you could add to audio tracks for this type of application.

Let your imagination run.

Just like everyone else can't wait for the new upgrade.  but how does the current setup for a slides show  work  and what.s the best format to set up video or stills in  ie wav or jpeg

If you download any of these, they'll not have audio info by default. Before converting them to Ots files, you should run them into a video editing software, and convert them to something more Ots friendly. Don't use a video conversion program, as that will not add an audio track. Without an audio track, Ots won't recognize the video as a valid Ots file, and it won't play in OtsAV. I did the conversion from mov to mpg in PowerDirector.

That will allow you to play the video/visuals in one of the OtsAV decks. Perhapsone day this won't be necessary for just video/no audio tracks, but until then, this will work.

For still images, you can simply drag your jpg images into a folder, and direct Ots to point to that folder for output to the display. More info on the Slideshow option can be found here... http://docs.otslabs.com/OtsAV/help/index.htm#using_otsav/video_subsystem/video_features/slideshow.htm

Did you see what the meters were doing in that video? Holy compression!
Just an ordinary average guy, who built an ordinary average computer, and uses it to play some ordinary average music, using a very extraordinary and extremely above average software called OtsAV. Which gives an ordinary average person, some extraordinary and  better than average multimedia enjoyment, to supplement an otherwise ordinary average lifestyle.

Someone failed to tell them they are probably gonna blow some speakers with that setup

Darryl

Perhaps they supply the equipment too - if the speakers last just past their guarantee, more sales for the supplier!

I believe that's for an in house system. Just the same, they may not be high power, but I'm sure they don't appriciate the excess workout.

Hello Gang,

for the past couple of days I have been reading all of your pages on the forum and found them most entertaining and even learning a few things on the way.

There is so much I want to ask as I am new to OTS and find it the best music manage and playout application I have ever used.

I am hoping to setup a new community radio station and I want OTS to be the main application so I know there is alot for me to pick and now I have found the perfect forum! Thank you.

My first question is What is Orange Door? where do I buy it?

Thnak you all

I love the forum!
