Any music moves me, sometimes to tears. Poetry can do the same. Remember the poem "Stop The Clocks" by W. H Auden that was recited in the movie "Four Weddings And A Funeral". THAT will get me every time.

I second Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun.  Roxy Music - On My Radio used to get me when I was little (not any more for some reason).  Rolf Harris - Two Little Boys puts a lump in the throat - but I think Terry Jacks wins it.

And I've just remebered Brotherhood of Man - Save your Kisses (just the last line).

Have fun,
Darryl.

I'll third on seasons in the sun. And second on the Auden poem and Rolf Harris' Two Little Boys.

I can't think of any other songs at the moment. There are a lot of songs that might get to me if I hear them at the right moment. Context is often everything.

It's not a song, but something I can't read aloud is The Gift of the Magi by O'Henry. Tried to do it for Christmas last year to play on the air. Couldn't get through it. Had to google up someone else reading it.
It's all just programming :P

One that gets me every time, and always has, is "Crazy Love" by Poco.

Another is "I Go Crazy" by Paul Davis.

Another is "Photographs and Memories" by Jim Croce.

I've got CDO, which is like OCD except that the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be.

It's all just ones and zeros. :p

I just remembered a couple.  Bookends by Simon and Garfunkel, and Old Friend by Chris De Burgh. They don't get to me every time, but when I'm in the right mindset they do.
